Today was a good day.
Cody came for a visit. He's such a happy child, quietly strong willed. Patricia brought him over while she went for a check-up. He took a long nap so he was ready for an afternoon of shopping.
We scouted the sales at Baby Gap, Gymboree and made purchases at Old Navy. Cody was quite the help in the dressing room.
At least until he figured out how to crawl under the door. It is much more time consuming to shop with a child. However he really did enjoy the soccer game in the store with one of their balls. The lady in the check out line got over her initial shock -- Cody spied her coke in the shopping bag and since he was somewhat thirsty reached in to help himself -- sharing is a good quality.
Once we hit the road home, a bottle of warm milk made for a full tummy and sleepy eyes.
It was a very good day.
